balanced question

I have built a number of Aleph 3 amps. More recently I built a BOSOZ preamp...The Aleph 3's do not have a balanced input...do you guys think it would be worthwhile to make the inputs of the 3's balanced (using the volksamp scheme for the Aleph 30) to utilize the balanced output of the BOSOZ. The DAC feeding the BOSOZ is single ended.

Thanks in advance for your advice

I ordered sample's of these im going to try 2 of them and see how they sound..

i posted the schematic and part # too for you

any time some one says something negative towards me i just ecnor it. ; O) i try lots of things. i ordered samples i want to try them out and see how they sound.. i also have to start my active x-over's soon. im going to find a webpage that deals with crisp clean psu's for 15 0 15 i need to make clean ripple free Power-supplies. a little thing my dad told me most of the theory is in the psu.. :devily:

The ps wont be a problem...the reason I got the samples was to see if I could run longer twisted pair and still have a quiet "noise floor".....I`m trying to make a cheaper alternative for some projects at hand.....I have been using op amps in the past and these chips seem to be a more viable alternative

like this.. rca from cd player input and then output is to the pre-amp that is all balanced line Right or am i wrong..
Jason,
You will need blocking caps on the output of the DVR134. The dc offset runs high on these. The drawing show cap inbetween, but in needs to be of the output.
The absolute offset should be low, + to -, but the offset referenced to ground will be high. This may not be a problem in your set up.
I built a board with these, but lack a balanced input amp to try. I used 22 ufd BG NX 6.3 volt caps on the outputs.
