Hi
I'm new to the amps world and i need a cheap amp to run a pair 8ohms spkrs That already have
I did some research and come to the conclusion that the best in my case would be something like the Topping TP20-MK2 TA2020 Class T Digital Mini Amplifier 25WPC Wich doesnt seem to need any quality mod compared to the lp2020a+
But i still like to hear some suggestions from you
The source i'm gonna use Is a focusrite scarlett 2i2 with balanced trs outputs.
Do i need to mod the amp inputs in order to use it with the scarlett or you suggest getting another amp ready for it?
Thanks in advance for reading
Sorry for my english...hope u understand

If you read the manual for Focusrite -
"Line outputs - 2x¼”(6.35mm)TRS jack sockets;+4dBu output level.
Either ¼”TRS(balanced) or TS(unbalanced) jack plugs can be used."
In other words, no need for balanced inputs on your amp.

No Tripath amps have balanced input stages, which means the signal needs to be converted to unbalanced at some point anyway. If you insist on Tripath, just use the unbalanced outputs of the pre and don't give it any more thought.

If you really want a balanced input class-d "chipamp", look at NXP or TI.
