Hi, all,
I've built a few pre-amps and headphone amps now and think I am ready to try a power amp. BUT...I need something with balanced inputs (due to the noisy environment in which I live and the long cables, 50 ft, between pre and power). I'd prefer something Pass. Suggestions?
TIA,
Riki

Thanks for that suggestion. I owned an Aleph 3, but I think that only had RCAs. So I didn't think of the Aleph J.
I really do like my BA-3B monoblocks. If you choose to build those, take Toshiba mosfets on the front end.

Aleph J, your best option. Board and all the parts are available.
F1/F1J, but the semis are not available, board available from csample (Chas).

Is there a thread for that? What boards would I need?

Burning Amp BA-3b (Balanced)
That along with this thread provided the vast majority of the information.
BA-3 Amplifier illustrated build guide
2 Front End Boards
4 Output stage boards (minimum)
4 Bias boards
Thanks again for that. It might be good for my to try something simpler to start, like the Aleph J.
