Hi Peter, oh I don't think the FE167E is better than the FE164. I just am depressed that my FE164 has no whizzer. 🙂 I will let you know how the inversion goes (and I will take a picture!)
Hi Peter, I inverted the FE164 BiB's and listened for a while. I used 25-pound barbells which did not provide enough height, in my mind. The bass didn't sound as open and spacious as they are when firing upward.
I think they would need to be much higher off the floor, maybe even 12" up. That would only help the driver's height, though, right? 🙂
