Hi guys,
I recently built a couple of speakers using tang band 871's (3inch) and I have read about adding a baffle step filter to them, but I can't seem to find a simple formula for working out the filter values or a schematic.
My speakers are 6 and 3/16" wide and 11 and 1/4" tall, the driver is mounted in the center at the top and I have a port at the bottom.
Could anyone tell me what kind of baffle step filter I need or the values? Or perhaps point me to a website with some reasonably easy formulas to work out one?
thanks!
