A ding is no big deal but that one has a *hole* connecting liquid filled innards with the outside world.
To boot it seems to have sharp jagged edges.
Junk it, absolutely unreliable, even if still "measures good" ... for now that is.

Don't use that one. Defective = defective. A small dent wouldn't be a problem but an open cap is a risk not worth taking.

that case AND that smaller cap hasn't been compromised.

replace with same or better spec'd cap.
