Bad Bluetooth receiver?

Hi,

i have an bluetooth dac to stream music to my system
but with an phone it work fine only with an ipad or tablet
it stop connecting after 1 m.

i want to try it with an better signal how can i connect it to an external
antenna. see picture

Without knowing anything about the bluetooth module, my guess would
be the silk screen square on the top left would be where a connector
for an antenna would be soldered. The antenna would be the bottom
center of that connector footprint.
