Backlight inverters

Hello, I'm currently awaiting my Sharp LQ6NC01 to arrive in the mail, and I know that while the ccft backlights are installed, they do not have an on-board inverter, and I need to supply my own. The spec sheet says that the tubes require 330 volts rms, 270 min, 370 max.

All of the inverters that I've looked at say that they "work for most ccft lights" and they usually output between 800 and 850 volts rms.

Can I hook my backlights in series to half the voltage and use a normal inverter with these odd ccft's? I can't find the part that they say you should use (Sharp LQ0J04 or equivalent)... google turns up pretty empty except for other people asking the same question as myself.

Anyone have any answers to this?

Thanks!

The spec sheet states that it will accept normal NTSC video input on two of the pins for the input to the board, so I'm just going to use a normal RCA jack to input my video. I've got a video out on my computer, so I'll just run into that from my computer if I want to watch DVD's or MST3k AVI's. 🙂
