back navigation being broken by ads?

using Win 7 IE 11 I am randomly unable to navigate back with mouse button, IE back button list has multiple "ads-iq.com/rt..." links between my current page and last diyAudio page

also getting "..website wants to install Flash Player.." notices here which is new - I don't want to install flash player for ads on a text forum

About a week ago I think I picked up the "Astromenda" browser hijack program when I fell for a "..website wants to install Flash Player.." dialog. It took me two days to kill and remove the thing.

I'm not sure if that's how it got onto my computer, and I don't know if the Flash Player dialog came up in response to anything I did on DIYAudio - just posting this as a precautionary warning.

Noted. Not seeing this problem in FireFox or Chrome.

Any other Internet Exploder users seeing this?

I just started seeing the 'Website wants to install flash player' dialog this evening. Win7 and IE11 on my being used in a VM hosted on my iMac. I had to turn on ActiveX filtering to keep from being pestered.

Yes IE11 and win7.

I don't remember seeing the install flash player message on here but I did get one from a link on yahoo news home page to a newspapers website. Was the kind thing with a dialogue windows box with select OK button to install flash to continue viewing this page. It wouldn't go away, it wouldn't even let me close the tab it was open in.

Just for your information, last night after I posted here I didn't have any problems going back in the browser, maybe its being fixed already.
