Does anyone out there know if there is an alternative replacement for the BA 4558E-F2 dual op-amp?

Only dozens 🙂 Ignore everything but the 4558 and you will have no trouble finding a replacement.

The 4558 is the epitome of the nothing special about it opamp. I am surprised that you weren't spammed by the I-hate-4558's-club. Just make sure you buy the right package. That F subscript indicates the SOP package. Here's the datasheet:
