Observing the mentioned schematic I am wondering about that 10uf coupling cap at the output. The input impedance of the next stage -in this case an amplifier input impedance- is represented by the letter D. So, the high pass frequency of this 6db/oct filter is a function of that input impedance. If I have an amplifier with a 100k impedance why do I have to use such a large cap value value? With a 1uf cap the cut off would be 1.5 hz I gave a lot of high quality 1 ufcaps but getting 10 uf caps would be much more difficult. Thanks!
