BA-3 amp construction with more than 3 pairs

The Jfet don't have to be a quad. (Though having the pairs close-ish would be nice.)

Hi Jim,

What are you thoughts on the front end mosfets? I would imagine
some kind of matching of N to N and P to P, at least within a channel,
would be beneficial. Perhaps try to match Vgs at around the 50mA
bias?

BA-3B can be driven from SE sources.

When driven from SE sources will the power output be the same as when driven from balanced ones?

I've just read through the BA3B thread and found the answer, but also found that a few members didn't like it when driving the ba3b with SE inputs.

We need to add susy to BA3B from end, some cascoding and a way to remove the output capacitors.

In other words, Mr Nelson care to share the schematics for XA30.5? 🙂 🙂 🙂
