B4 and using different pair of monoblock

I would like to bi-amp my speakers using the B4 active crossover.

However, the two pairs of monoblocks have different gain - 26dB and 26.6dB. I believe the B4 can adjust gain levels - to a certain degree. However, does the B4 have enough resolution in its gain adjustment to be able equalize the gain on these two different monoblocks or do I need something else to do that upstream of the audio chain?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Well I tried it. Definitely need to attenuate the amps to the same level. 🙁

so - where is the problem ?

ppl use pots all the time ........ you even have two of them on B4

not to mention myriad of switches inside , and at least half of them will give you numerous possibilities regarding "gain"

I presume that B4 is pretty similar in operation with

I need to attenuate the gain on the monoblocks powering the woofers. From the B5 manual, it looks like this can be done in that "The knobs on the front panel are used to adjust the level of the woofer system." (pg. 10).

However, I don't know what the range of adjustment is or how fine that adjustment is. That's what I'm trying to find out.

I guess I will have to wait until the B4's actually are available.
