Yeah sorry for the confusion, it slipped my mind KEF made the 'B200' too! I did mean the Visaton.
I have a pair in OB's together with 2 X Eminence alphas (15) per channel. They are driven via a Rane AC22B x-over by a Sure 4 X 100W amp. I am getting bass just not as visceral or deep as I would have imagined from the 4 actively driven alphas. The alphas btw are driver in series each side.
I was just throwing ideas around to see if anyone had experience of the B200 in a BIB.
Thanks, Steve

B200 Visaton
Hello,
the relation of reso and Qts is not working
in a single B 200 basshorn.
I test the B200 in serveral constructions,
in my sats:
Trumpet, Schalmei, Horn the B200 work very well,
no double cone makes it to a superb classic driver,
nothing over 12 kHz normally no problem.
The single simu of the double horn:
Saxophon and RDH20
shows worse simus in relation to Fostex, Sica ...
but it works, by membran movement interlacing,
see last measurement of RDH20.
A single B200 bass horn won´t work good.

Well, it would. But it'd need to be a hell of a size. For e.g., a BIB chamberless conical horn would need a Vp (pipe volume) of ~50.5ft^3 for the regular alignment. So I'd probably be inclined toward another unit that doesn't need quite as large a cabinet to work reasonably.

Thanks guys for taking the time to help.
Scott, it is a shame they are not a drop in replacement for the Sachiko's I built! they are here idle now without drivers! If you know anyone in the NW who would like them, let me know!

Gilles Cardinalli (sp?) empirically made a Karlson coupler for B200

.......a Vp (pipe volume) of ~50.5ft^3........
A man size cab, though a triangular shaped one built into a corner wouldn't be all that big, But this requires a long term commitment.........
I guess short of an OB, a ~Vb = Vas, Fb = Fs or a bit lower to keep size reasonable, then damp the vent as required to deal with any audibly under-damped 'boom'.
