B1 buffer with gain?

Im looking to increase the gain of the B1 buffer which values to be changed to may be to gain 6? if we are using the lsk489

B1 Buffer is source follower. You can't get voltage gain from that.
Mr Pass released a simple preamp circuit using 2sk170 then I think Juma tweaked and perfected it.
Do a search and you should find it.

Here ya go. This is what I would build. You don't have to use the same device as Juma if you don't have them.
