Is there a suitable replacement for this unobtanium -
ZC07471 Bowers &Wilkins Fcm8/ Minipod Tweeter Diaphragm (encompass.com)
ZC07471 is a 1.25" semi hard dome of which there's 3 in 1 cabinet.
Ideally exact replacement is my preferred option. And listed by B&W as unobtanium.
But something close may be OK, I have 2 iffy domes in 1 cab and 3 good domes in the other. I'll swap out the iffy ones but move 1 good one so each cab has 2 originals and 1 "replacement".

Searching on google brings up available diaphragms through ebay for example.
If B&W no longer makes spares, that is the easiest solution

I see those. Was hoping for some extra collective wisdom from someone who may have tried one or more of those.
There is all kinds of replacement tweeters if you fear not doing some mods to accomodate new units. Dayton Audio ND 25 FN-4 might work.
I'd use the LPG 26NA and trim to fit. Its a great alu dome and it will sound closer to the B&W than any other replacement, as most of their metal domes are alu, not titanium - quite a difference in sound based on my experiences with B&W tweeters. You will have to pad the tweeter a few dB depending on your ears.
That's not unobtanium. That's just out of stock from Encompass.
Did you try:

Oh, thanks. I thought encompass was B&W's parts arm. My bad. Thanks I hope they have them (reconing has it listed).
That is a whole tweeter that's metallic hard dome complete with the mesh shielding. That will not fit. look very odd. I have some good leads posted by others. Hoping they have what I am looking for. Else I'll make a 2nd attempt at fixing this squished and pulled out dome.I'd use the LPG 26NA and trim to fit. The reconing guys dont have it. In fact they say on their site that they use the original parts from the manufacturer (which is the encompass site). Now lets see if the UK people have it.
I confused the tweeter diaphragm in your picture for a complete neo tweeter. Sorry for that. Your best bet is to measure the VC dimensions and try to locate a similar sized one from a repair shop. It won't sound like the original, but you may get lucky. I've also seen some sellers on ebay offering some possible options. That is a whole tweeter that's metallic hard dome complete with the mesh shielding. That will not fit. look very odd. The dome in the picture looks alot to be of aluminium or titanium construction with a black coating. Could be plastic though, but it looks like metal. Thats why I recommended a hard dome.
I have a 2nd problem I think with the related PCS8 (bass secion)
Can someone refer me a tech (preferably one of us diyaudioans - I know I've been away a long time as life rolled on/me over) repair the woofer - ZZ07447 - I have a feeling I am getting a VC rub because it may be separating at the spider and vc glue in 1 spot.
