B+ supply filter

Im curious I've heard people talk down about using elelectrolytic caps for B+ supply filter why is that?

Ham radio guy put them in series for high voltage apps and don't have problems. So what wrong with it for audio?

I got a B+ requirement of 1kvdc and I have 4 450vdc 2200mfrd caps in series is this tabbo???????
