B&C DE5 on JBL2404 horns

I own a pair of salvaged JBL2404 horns (baby butt cheeks) wihout drivers.
The only driver I could find that would fit the 1/2" throat of those horns and with a high end frequency response and sensitivity that would somewhat resemble that of the original drivers, is the B&C DE5.
Do you think this could be a match that would be worth trying ?
The power handing of the DE5 would not be a problem as they are meant as supertweeters on a high efficiency home speaker system.

Thank you for your reply Mountainman.
I am planning to 3d print a flange to adapt the mounting holes.
In this regard, I wonder what the acoustic drawback would be, if any, to installing a 1" driver on a 1/2" throat by means of an adapter, as there is a much wider range of 1" drivers to choose from.
