B&C 12PE32, what to do with it

I went with Overkill Audio's suggestion, small sealed box.
Here is the response in room at 1m aprox, no filters. Sweep 60-8k.

I have 18" open baffle bellow, crossed at 120hz, and the sealed 12PE32 is crossed at 80hz. LR4. And upper cross point is 1500Hz to DE250 in RCF H100 horn.

It sounds good! Thanks all for suggestions!

Nice open baffle system attached, only twin 8 inch drivers so limited SPL and low end extension, but beautiful over the 30Hz to 300Hz band. Manger driver above 300Hz.

Cheers
D.

IMHO a bigger enclosure and a serie resistor will gives you a far better alignment, allowing you cover one more octave.

You should choose your volume, then choose an alignment and its related Qts.
Here is the formulas in order to calculate Re :
Re=Res/(R0-1)
R0=Qms/Qts

Sorry, it was a bad idea, it will seriously degrade the loudspeaker design performance.
You should keep the small box and stay above 200 Hz.

Edit : i wouldn't use a xover point under 250 Hz (the optimal point is over 300Hz)
