hello all- currently playing with a yamaha b-2 power amp. yep...its got blown v-fets. has anyone out there come up with subs or circuit mods to compenstae for the impedance factors of the v-fets?

Hi
That is unfortunate if they are blown. Those special devices are very difficult to get, and even if you can find someone who has them, they will want an arm and half a leg for them, that is if they know what they are. If I'm not mistaken, those are normally on devices so if you are measuring Rds with them out of the circuit they should show up as nearly a short. You can build a test rig to be sure, Vp should be ~10V.
