Axiom 80 cab plans

Does any one have an idea where I could find cabinet plans for a single axiom 80?

Specifically I'm after a single driver cab. I've got the plans for the original Goodmans cabs (the one with the ARU) but have read somewhere that the design isn't too good.

Gerry E turned me on to the following design, but he doesn't have the plans any more. Does anybody have a copy?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

HI, spotted this a little late perrhaps, but:

Had a while ago pretty similar corner reflex enclosures to a pair of axiom 80's, made after the plan by Ted Jordan himself.
I dont anymore have plans on hands, but the important information is internal volume=340 litres, fS=26 hZ.

Loudspeakers in your pic has just the right pentagonal cross section, they only see much too low to my eyes. WAF, perhaps?

I can sincerely recommend that corner enclosure. Axiom 80's are capable to a really spectacular performance in those. I actally measured flat 28-18.500 hz response from those.

Power handling will be sufficient to most listeners too, especially if cleverly loaded with a little portion of that nice kind of amplifier clipping, just to compensate unconvenient IM-distortion Axioms generate, if pushed too hard.😀 But seriously, most listeners will be compeletely happy with their performance.

IMO: you dont need much more plans. Just use the cross section visible in your pic, raise the internal volume in 340 litres, tune the box in 26 hz and be happy: you just made one of the greatest loudspeakers any amount of many can buy.

Edit: one more note: I followed Ted Jordans original plan, and placed the driver in the middle of the front baffle, symmetrically to height from top of the baffle similar to distance to corners. The speaker in the pic has a different placement to the driver, to me it looks to be too near the top of the box. I know that would not be perhaps the first recommendation "by the book", but that was the plan and I followed it by the letter. BTW: IMO they are not meant for on-axis listening. Mr. Jordan seemed really to know what he was doing with this plan.
Just put the speakers in the corner, sit in a nice couch in the middle of the opposite wall, and enjoy. They might very well be the last loudspeakers you ever build, unless you too dont have that obsessive nature I do😀

AS I happened to found again the requested pic I could as well stick it here, someone will need it one of those days anyway. ( that horn... 😱 )
