Hi all,
Do you know of any alternatives to the AXI2050 that would be suitable for full range usage that offer similar sensitivity?
Even with dealer pricing around $650 with an MOQ of 10 units, the AXI2050 is far too expensive and certainly overkill.
Is anyone aware of a driver with similar performance (distortion, frequency... maybe even sensitivity??) that is much lower power?
If there are no alternatives, is there a respected method for horn loading a smaller full range non-compression driver?
Thanks in advance,
bob

Check out this thread: A Bookshelf Multi-Way Point-Source Horn
It's actually a Synergy design but a full range driver was used for the upper end (500 Hz and up). A good description of the work needed to get to the good results is in that thread.
