Hi All,
I would be grateful if anyone here can give some advice with the operation of this Valve Characteristic Meter. I have "restored" one, I have the Valve (Tube) Data Manual, but have no idea how to operate this. It's somewhat differe3nt to the AVO 160 I once had.

I have a scanned version of the AVO MkIV Manual which I downloaded somewhere on the net. It`s a ~5MB PDF file.

Hi Eric,
the file is on the way to You, hope You can receive it okay.
I only say this because it frequently happens that people can not receive big files like this via email for whatever reason.
I have a volume DSL rate and therefore cannot send such big files very often.
Enjoy!

Hi Christoph,
Got it - thanks very much! I was also concerned about the file size, but the email address I gave you took it in its stride 🙂
I know what you mean regarding capped DSL line, I have the same problem here, but luckily I am still within limits and it will be reset at the end of the month.
I'm now busy restoring a AVO 3, and will soon be looking for a Mk3 User manual as well.
Many thanks once again.
