I'm looking for a woofer for a 3-way system, and was wondering if the AV12X was suitable. I'm using a DCX2496, so the crossover slope will be quite steep, and I'm only looking for the woofer to play up to 300hz. Is the AV12X worth $180/pair more than the RSS315 for this application?
