I didn't see any square waves on those pins of the driver board.
I'm getting square waves on pin 12 of the LM219.
The hc02 is still heating significantly.
All the regulators are producing 5v out with a 12v in reference point at regulator tab.
I think we are making some progress aren't we?

I'll have to check if none is at hand or I'll sourced it to have it replace.
But Mr Babin even when the driver board is not in the amp, it still posed a challenge to power up. Shouldn't the amp turn on solid without the board if everything is in checked on the amp board?

Without the rectifiers, I think it should come on without the driver board but I don't know of every possible fault. I generally work from one point and get it working stage by stage.
It wasn't going into protect when you posted the last screenshot so if we work our way through the drive circuit, we should find the fault.
If I'm not mistaken. both drive signals are from the hc02 that's heating up. If you can find another square wave drive on the other hc02, you can use a small jumper wire to connect that output to the drive output pins of the driver board. Reinstalling the 330 ohm resistors (one at a time) would allow the rest of the drive circuit to function for troubleshooting.
When you place your parts order, order the other two ICs on that board as well.

I'm not jumping the gun Sir Babin, just would want to confirm if the driver board on this design would trigger a protection error if removed from the main board with the rail voltage enabled?
The amp should not go into protect with the driver board removed but if there is a problem with the driver circuit, it may be able to trigger the protection circuit.

The waveform I submitted to you was from pin 12 on the LM219 and not the HC02, should I check to see if I'm getting a waveform from the HC02?
And if the amp failed to power up even without the driver board could it be something on the main amp board itself?
I've already change the opto couplers.
See if you can find a square wave on the output pins of the HC02.

This is the side that's getting hot, I've checked all the components that drives these fets but I haven't find anything with any significant irregularity that's causing it, any ideas anyone?
