Audiophile class D modules that accept I2S or Spdif input?

>The Millenium i as I understand it a DAC with a lot of current capability - a "power" DAC?

I'd propose (if I havent already) that it's possible to find a "power" DAC that sounds good, just as one can find a line level DAC that sounds good. There's not necessarily any "magic" in going to analog for a little bit so you can carry it over via cable to the next component.

Regarding speaker terminal feedback being easier with analog as input, yes it is. But that doesnt obscure the possibility of building a good sounding amp without it. It's well know you build a good amp and use a little bit of feedback to make it better - gee, I wonder what that taken to the limit is? Just a good amp with no feedback perhaps?

Just sayin' it's possible; so dont dismiss the idea because we're only 98% of the way currently.

I had one of those Panasonics. Left it at a GF's place after breakup, figured I'd run into another one one day. Never have seen one like it again.

Denon PMA60. Low price, looks good, sounds very good. Just to counterattack negativity regarding FDA. I have one for years and it stayed in the audio rack. The PMA50 was not bad either.

It sounds better than the more expensive stuff it replaced. Class A/AB will soon be extinct except for a niche market.
