amplifier seems to have a ground loop issue perhaps? amplifier arrived to me in original factory condition and was exhibiting these same issues.
sometimes it will work fine with 1mv or less dc offset and bias set to around 20-22 mv each channel.
then the left channel will develop around 190mv of dc offset and the bias reads 0mv.
i was advised that a full recap was where i should start and i did. amp still has the issue.
it would appear that if i disassemble the left amplifier from the chassis, it readjusts itself and comes out of whatever issue it is having to where it will measure good and work fine for a while. the amp board appears to be grounded to the chassis through contact on the pcb with aluminum mounting screw spacers as well as the heat sink itself being tied into the chassis ground.
whenever it begins to exhibit problems the heat sink goes cool as the transistors dont appear to be receiving any idle current yet their casing still measure at whats coming off the rectifier.
any ideas?
