Thought I would sell this as it has a very nice DAC chip, ES9018S and some polymer capacitors et.c. I already have enough junk 🙂
Discarded due to hiss on left channel.
Heard in head phones. With my insensitive speakers it wasn't very audible.
Asking for 75€ or any offer!
Board has the older SW, V0.90 I think?
But it is easy to upgrade, I can help if needed.
Shipping anywhere, but outside EU might cost around 35€, EU around 20€
I am fine with any reasonable arrangements and suggestions 🙂

It seems that Jonas has cheated me. The project aims to be something serious because he sends it with a service manual, however it is impossible to start it. It is an incomplete part of a DAC that has probably been discarded at the factory. Now he does not want to return the money and he does not give me any solution either. Impress a person that can not be trusted.
There is nothing on this board that cannot be repaired. Looks like a pretty sweet deal if you want a 9018 dac, even if some troubleshooting is required.
Why don't you start a thread about it? You will certainly receive some good advice. Especially if a service manual is available.

If I would not have sent you a slightly defective Audiolab M-DAC board I would have cheated you. In which case I would 100% refund you.
In addition to this I did send you the service manual and give you some discount.
And when I finally realized that you bought a board for a DAC you do not have I gave you 3 suggestions.
-Take ES9018 chip and put it on a new board (in addition to saving other components)
-Buy a dead M-DAC and put this board in it
-Buy the front panel as spare part and make power board yourself (a bit time and money consuming)
You did not really comment on any of my suggestions.
I am sorry you feel cheated, but it is a bit like if I buy a car engine...I need a car or a lot of parts to get it working as intended.
If you would have once googled Audiolab M-DAC you would have seen what the complete unit looks like. It has buttons, a display, a transformer, even a remote. None of which were listed for sale here.
If you do not want it for anything why don't you pass it on to someone?
I already have 3 working DACs and some ES9018 chips too, so it would be a waste of shipping costs to return it to me so that I can sell it to someone else or de-solder the components.

Thanks dude, I am busy to busy, work at hospital in emergency on this time and for me is a big problem if I try to afford this kind of project. There are no reference about the power supply voltages. No choice in get it, no address no clues, If i start a thread with this, probably I will get solutions in one year or later. The other problem is the hiss of the left channel. Cause this was the reason that the seller put for sale it. I remember I asked how sound it and he never answer this question, but obviously claimed the payment....
So Friend thanks for your ideas. Receive my best regards and soon I will be feel no cheated by a member....The day start tomorrow and the sun shine again.
I am glad if this issue gets solved by someone else buying it. I purposely left this thread open for that.
I can also unfortunately not know the skills and busyness levels of all people I do business with.
I am busy too. If I weren't I would probably have made something of this board too.
The voltage levels I did tell you, they could also be figured out from many things in the service manual.
Whoever wants to fix the hiss... it is likely caused by a slightly noisy transistor.
Figuring out which one it can be tricky. I think all/most the transistors are readily available BCxyz types though.
Regarding telling people how it sounds...well I liked the sound, but better read a review than take the sellers word for it. With repairs and mods the sound can also change for better or worse 🙂
