Have a Audiolab 8200CDQ that skipping then playing CDs (no scratches) sometimes, have checked the laser sledge and there's no jam. It's the SONY KHM-313AAM transport. Some ideas what the problem could be?
Lotsa info on Youtube even. A common CDP 'problem' Could be as simple as a failing diode.. Also entire Transports or parts of, are available from Aliexpress .. v inexpensively.
You may want to sort out your thoughts with another forum member on that source.
