I've got two of these, with the original electrolytics, and the sound quality has degraded over the years, so a recap is definitely in order. Its on my todo list but down a bit. Great amp tho and worth the effort.
Did you shortlist the upgrade components? We're u only planning on updating the PSU caps or the full upgrade?
I found this one very sensitive to the quality of the rather numerous coupling caps (100uF BP). Customer complained and I had to change them again. Can't remember what to, sorry.
