I need to replace one missing lid fixing screw on my 8000C (there are 2 screws each side) and was wondering/hoping if anyone has a spare screw they could supply me with.

Judging from the head of one of the case screws on my 8000C preamp, it looks like an M4 torx pan head screw
Yep, I just confirmed this. Another 8000C of mine (I have 3) has M4 pan head screws with a normal phillips head. I screwed in one of my stainless M4 screws and it fits in the thread perfectly.
What you want is some M4 X 8 pan head screws in black, which are readily available from many many places that do such things 🙂
