Audio Static ES 50 low volume

Hi All,

I'm trying to help my neighbour with his Audio Static ES50 speakers. One of them is lower in volume. I have some experience tinkering with electronics but have never worked on these kind of speakers. I openend them up to discover that the PCB is marked with Audio Static ES 100? Also it seems the previous owner did some work on them.

I have no idea where to go from here. any help is very much appreciated!

The electronics of ES100 should work on the ES50 as well.
From a distance it is quite impossible to see what is going wrong.
In most cases these speakers will be alive again after replacing the Mylar sheets.
