"On the AudioShark website, a post appeared in late afternoon Sunday under the moniker “commish” whom I am told – but have not confirmed – is an Audio Research insider. The writer of the post assures everyone that everything is progressing as normal at Audio Research Corp. The company, the writer says, is receiving parts, accepting orders, building products, testing them, and shipping goods.
He also says, intriguingly, “Trent Suggs was relieved of control of Audio Research and we have been working with individuals to purchase the company: we expect to have a new owner very soon.” "

They supposed to have a new owner before this weekend ends according to a source in the company. Who knows , it's not the first time it happened to them so I don't think it matters that much. It's not like anybody here is going to buy even the cheapest device from them , is it??
Pretty much the same information can be found on PTA here:

I'd rather design and build my own personally, but would like to see ARC survive this. It's not like anybody here is going to buy even the cheapest device from them , is it??
Well , since the cheapest junk from them is over $7k now it's not like I'm on the market either but they always offered an exemplary build quality and took a good care of their customers (for a price) . I also wish them well and want to see them survive and prosper.
I don't know, I have a SP6A that I like when I want everything rose colored. I've recapped it and need to replace the old and tired RCAs, and internal wiring which is pretty dodgy on my sample. It's not like anybody here is going to buy even the cheapest device from them , is it??
But honestly, my benchmark DAC3 into their AHB2 is just so transparent and clean that the ARC preamp gets very little play these days.

It looks like it's all related to rising interest rates and some borrowing that ARC did a scant few years ago when our economy was much freer than it is today.
Our inflation is being created by rising energy costs... which are so by political design and under regulatory execution. This artificial "inflation" is the excuse by the Feds to raise interest rates to "combat inflation". What they really are doing is lowering the GOP so that there is less demand for energy.
Thus the Environazis get to lower energy consumption ( I won't even go into how this benefits the global monopolies and cartels ).
Then, of course, is the Era Of Free Money... seriously... you didn't think that doubling the minimum wage to $15 an hour wouldn't have consequences?
Small and medium sized companies, and our 401Ks, are the victims.
