I have a used Audio Precision System Two for sale. It is in fully working order and includes everything you need to start testing with it. Included is a small fanless Windows 98 server and APIB-LPT cable from Sound Logic. It already has the driver and apwin software loaded and running. You can even connect to the server using a cross-over network cable and running VNC Viewer, so that you can use your laptop and not have to connect an external keyboard/video/mouse (this is how I've been using it). I can't provide a warranty, but I can guarantee that it's working upon arrival.
Here's a link to the mini computer from Sound Logic that's included: Sound Logic Mini Computers
The APIB-LPT cable and driver software is also included, so you can build your own server if you so choose. An unopened copy of Windows98SE is also included, which is the last version of Windows that will run the drivers AFAIK.
I am also including a bnc-rca spdif cable, and 8 bnc to rca adapters. These are very handy, allowing you to connect standard rca-rca cables to the System Two's single-ended inputs and outputs.
It was purchased as surplus, but still has the asset tags from the telco that last used it. I am listing it here at diyaudio first, but if it doesn't sell I will bring it to audiogon and ebay as well. Asking $3500, which is about half of what a used system goes for on ebay, without the additional computer and cables that I am bundling together. Shipping will be included to lower 48 US states.
Let me know if you have any questions, or if you'd like to see a test, etc. 😀 I have a pic of the system feeding a DAC that I had built. I'm not an expert on this device and I don't need such a industrial piece of gear.
