I am looking for an audio/ media player for Raspbian which is very much like runeaudio or volumio. The problem with these two is they have their own OS. and cant be installed on Raspbian. I have NAS and DNS server running on my raspberry pi. So I don't wish to dedicate Raspberry pi for that.
Both Volumio and runeaudio has remote applications where you can operate Raspberry pi headless.
Please suggest me a player.
Thanks

You may wish to consider dietpi, which is a lightweight RPi OS based on Raspbian. It is extremely configurable, has lots of software options including some MPD front ends:
DietPi - Lightweight justice for your SBC!
DietPi-Software - Lightweight justice for your SBC!
There are also a couple of android apps for controlling MPD.
Dietpi also allows you to install and use Logitech Media Server to manage your music and Squeezelite to play your music.

Try Logitech Media Server & Squeezelite. Both can be installed on Raspian. For a ready solution try Picoreplayer. It has multi-room capabilities & Sync.
Just a hint:
Assign a static IP to Your NAS & RPI. You can do his via NAS & RPI own software or create a static route in Your router. Use ethernet where possible instead of WiFI.
The apps are paid, but You can find the apk's outside of the store.
