Audio Note Conquest problem

Hi,

now my friend have a problem with Audio Note Conquest. One of the capacitor (marked red) blowed up second time. First one was 470uF 385V, second time was 470uF 500V. Do you have any ideas why this capacitor goes bad?

Best regards

Replace both 220k resistors that are in parallel with the capacitors.
The resistors equally divide the voltage between the series capacitors.
Make sure the new parts' power rating and voltage rating is enough.
Check all the other 220k also.

Replace BOTH caps with a pair of same brand/model. At the same time replace
the resistors that parallells the caps to be sure they do their work .
Serial connected caps must be equal to share voltage correct.

Measure the voltage across both resistors to check they are about the same. As someone has pointed out almost certainly the bottom cap went short circuit placing all the voltage across the top one - both should be replaced and check the voltage sharing on the others too. I would check all the pairs.
