I haven't heard the interplanetary sound! Like the first one i'll try to make something 'musical' with it.
There is more to come in the future: Perseverance have multiples microphone one of them integrated to the 'superarm' which to my knowledge, have not been used yet ( we are aware of it in France as it was developed here and french are known for their hubris 😉 ).
From what i understood the level of quality should be on par with the one of pictures already taken. It's primary goal is to record the sound emited by rock when laser in 'superarm' will strike them.
Can't wait for this records... if the gear is still working: we are lucky to already have something to listen as the mic used for the records we have ( not the same as in the arm) wasn't fully functional during landing.
I find this fascinating and a technological 'miracle'.
