Is anyone familiar with this Amp
Audica Professional - MICROplus
I ended up with one after a Job I did last year. I hadn't tried it before untill my old NAD started showing some problems. I used it to replace the power section of my settup in 160W dual bridged mode. I wasnt expecting much but its really quite impressive very open and articulate, punchy but perhaps a bit short on bass. It handles all types of music very nicely but something like Kind Of Blue shines.
I looked up the specs but I can't find much Info on the guts. I opened it up and it looks very nicely put together. A pair of tripath chips I suspect with duplicate circuitry and a switchmode psu in one small enclosure. I can't see the chips are though without taking the Heatsinks off which I'd rather not try and do.
Does anyone know what the amp chips are?
