This will be my first attempt at making a headphone cable and would like to know if this is the way to go about it...
Unbalanced cable using a 1/4" TRS plug and 2 mini 4-pin XLR's for the headphone end, left and right.
Is this the correct way for wire hookup? See diagram below....

Four pins I think don't have a standard connection so I will follows exactly manufacturer recommends as per your posted pics.
I just use pins 1 and 3 on the mini XLR 1 for + and 3 for - so for you
left channel
phono tip = pin 1 on mini XLR
ground = pin 3 on mini XLR
right channel
phono ring = pin 1 on mini XLR
ground = pin 3 on mini XLR
left channel
phono tip = pin 1 on mini XLR
ground = pin 3 on mini XLR
right channel
phono ring = pin 1 on mini XLR
ground = pin 3 on mini XLR
