Hy.
I got audes 75w104-4 AUDES
Some time i heard this in 50L vented box but i dont like that only have huge(5db) 50hz hill.
So now i want tray something deeb and loud.
I but i to may room.
Witch type box? vented or bandpass?
Henri.
Hi Henri,
That's a really nice woofer I think deserves a home in a T-TQWT or in a TH:
The first of submitted pictures.
Note that One T-TQWT using 2 drivers equals one TH if SPL capabilities are compared and you need to invest in signal delay units targeting your main speakers and EQ to tame the TH: Making it more expensive to build in total costs than for a dual driver equipped T-TQWT that also would IMO provide superior SQ.
About 4 years ago I made a T-TQWT with the smaller 8-inch Audes-75W87-4 that came out with very good performance.: The following 3 pictures.

Thanks for info.
I have 1 driver only..
But can 1x 10´´ driver is not so good that 2x8`` T-TQWD box .
Or its imbossible to make 1x10´´ T-TQWD box?
Henri.

Hi Henri,
The very first picture contains 3 different simulations: A T-TQWT using a single driver a two with dual drivers.
The first of columns(from top to bottom) is the one with a single driver.
I fact if you compare the first two of simulations you will notice that when using two drivers the CSA:s (Cross-Sectional-Area:s) are doubled but the length's remains equal, thus the volume a two driver enclosure is doubled when compared to what a single driver needs.

Some calculatsions for audes 75w104-4 box?
I can only simulate vented, bandpass type boxes..

Download the free HR program and use the import feature:
Hornresp
Then 'Calculate'----in Schematic diagram--Export Horn data from'File*.

Henri,
Do a DIY search on 'Hornresp tutorial'..and read HR help file. At the main screen set Eg = 2 V for 1 W into 4 Ohm.

This is automatic HR calculatsion.
But still to dummy for this program..
That's not what I pointed at.😱 I guess you need more spoon-feedings on this very simple matter:

BTW, You named your submitted.txt files *värk* Did you know that this word in Swedish is = ache? 😀

Thanks for this pic.
I try again.
Estonian language ``värk`` means ``stuff``
Whne i get HR how long is ``horn`` then i must to make a plans how fold that ´´horn´´?
Or works straight box?
Henri&bad english skill😛

Hi Henri,
The internal height of this single folded T-TQWT is 109+26= 135 cm.
If you use 18 mm wood then the longest dimension would be 138.6 cm.
I updated the last submitted picture:

Did this box is like that sketch up?
Black circle is driver.
Bjorno, did that calcultsion what you posted is right box what i need?
You know how that prog use, did you can say what is this box maximum spl?
I try made this box.

Your Sketch-up picture looks like a TH, not a T-TQWT.I haven't simulated a TH yet..

My step by step picture is using the information of the very first simulation/row in post#2 where a single driver can handle 17 W max that returns a SPL/1m of ~110 dB if placed at a floor-wall junction (2 x Pi) and if close to a corner(0.5 x Pi) a maximum of 111-112 dB/1m.
..I try made this box..
Good luck!

Hi Hents503
Where do you buy the Audes drivers ... don´t see any web shop on their web page.
Looks like really nice drivers ... derserves more investigation 😉
Best regards Baldin

The original discussion was about the 10" driver, so Sd 320cm2 would be correct.
Your driver is the 8", so Sd 209cm2 seems right.
The 3rd picture in reply #2 would be correct for the 4Ω version of your driver; you'd be best to check if the slightly different TS parameters of your 8Ω version need any adjustment to the design before building it though.

I missed that...
If you are an wizard at Hornresp maybe you could help me out with an subbas for my element.
Small box F3 maybe 35hz and I don't need high SPL I run it active with EQ.
Not really a Hornresp wizard, sorry.
Do you specifically need a tapped horn type design?
This driver seems OK in a simpler vented box - 30 litres tuned to around 35Hz looks good to me.
