I need to get 6 attenuators of 600 ohms input/outut impedance for balanced signals.
I have been trying to find some for 3 weeks now and I think I am going to have to make them myself.
I have find two links:

This one proposes a schematics: it is very good but have two problems:
- it is using 2 rotary switches
- the resistors are in series.
I also find this one:

This one proposes a ladder design, but I am not sure it is suited for an impedance of 600ohms I/O
Also when contacting them for more information, it is all in chinese.
I was hopping you guys could help me out to solve my problem.

FarnellInOne has XLR inline 600 ohms attennuators in various factors. I bought some 30dB attens from them. Brand was Deltron IIRC.

Hi Alex,
A 600ohm attenuator should not be too difficult to design. You need to decide how many steps you desire, choose the maximum attenuation and the attenuator type (serial or ladder) etc. The switch which is used in balanced attenuators is the shorting type and needs to have 3 poles and as many positions as the number of steps you have. You should have 12 steps at least. 24 steps are optimal albeit expensive.
If you provide some specifications, I may be able to come up with a more practical suggestion.
