Attachments in Private Messages

Hello
I dont see the Manage Attachments button when replying to a Private Message. Does this mean Attachments are not permitted in Private Messages, or am I just not doing something correctly ?

I agree. Sometimes we are trying to send large attachments.

I don't think you can send attachments via PM. I would just use your regular email for now.

Not an option in this version of vBulletin, but hopefully our next platform that we upgrade to has that capability. I agree it would be very handy.

You can include your Email address in your PM and continue exchanging information that way.

i think regular email is a better option unless you want to keep your email adress private

If you are conversing with a Member in Private (PM) and want to exchange information, then why would either Member want to maintain secrecy?

Sometimes things are taken to PM just to keep threads on topic, or because you dont want to offend someone, or apologising if you have already offended someone; that doesnt mean that that person is automatically someone you want to share your private details with, sometimes quite the opposite I guess.

Obviously email is an option, but its a different thing, why would you use PM at all if you were ready to hand out your email to everyone instantly? sometimes its just more convenient to use PM and you may be wanting to share documents. I havent felt the need often, but there has been a couple of times I wished I could, since then i've known its not an option.
