With pin 8 lifted the amp will power up but protection light is still on not the power light but amp produces both rail and regulated voltages

Is that with 8 out and the rectifiers in?
If so, the PS is operating. Are you saying that the gates have no drive?

With pin 8 out of circuit and rectifiers in circuit the amp will power up and produce rail and regulated voltages and the gate legs of the fets have drive .
The only thing is with pin 8 out of circuit the protection led will stay lit

Do you still read a short between terminals 3 and 4 of the driver board?
Are you 100% sure that there isn't a hairline bridge between them?
In #24, you stated:
I noticed I have 55 ohms between gate and source on the output pads for the amp .
Is that still true?
Both high and low side?

Between drain and source legs I only get 80 ohms the middle leg goes to the output filter inductor.
Do all of the gate resistors (and parallel diodes) read the same on those FETs?
FETs in or out of the circuit?
FETs in or out of the circuit?
I see the issue . When one of of outputs blew at some point of burnt the board and was hard to see and it made the board conductive .
I will fix this issue get a new 3525 since pin 8 was out of circuit and leg broke when I tried bending it back .
Is there a good replacement for the rectifiers?
They are mospec F20C20A and F20C20C
The legs got broken from taking them in and out of the board .

I don't have a 20 amp sub for the rectifiers.
What about the short from 3-4 on the driver board header?
When you pull the 3525, check to see if there are any other traces to pin 8. Photograph the circuit under it (for your reference).
