Anybody used the ATC mid-bass drivers in a project? I have a pair of SCM-7's that i think could be improved. The x-over is around 2.8Khz (iirc) and the tweeter is the D26N55-06 (i think) which tends to get good reviews, but i think it can be improved on. Would crossover tweaking/upgrading help or just starting again with a better tweeter?
Bass and midrange are really good, but they can be a little to hard and splashy in the treble, maybe a slightly smoother and more refined tweeter would be better. Was thinking of something along the lines of the old Morel MDT-33 or the larger domes recently tested-
Large domes
