At last, some hope for tinnitus and hearing loss sufferers?

tongue and sound stimulation
by some means or other
I smell DIY. Everyone knows the 9V battery tongue test. An oscillator, a PWM, a pass FET driven through an opto (to avoid connecting yourself to anything that's not floating) - plus some weird sounds recorded from someone's synth on an MP3 player. Only take 12 weeks to find out. For $38 - a 100X savings!

What is described here is would be easy for a DIYer:

I read some source mentioning that the same type of filter should be applied to both channels even when the tinnitus is asymmetric. The reason is probably because stereophony might sound unnatural and unpleasing when L and R are filtered differently.
The filter might even be built passively in a small box that is switched between an outlet and headphones.

Recently in the anti aging community taurine has been talked about a lot.
When we are very young we have high levels of this in our blood but as we
age the levels decrease up to 80% lower by the time we get to 70 or 80. Here is
a little article on this more or less touting it's general health promoting effects.
I saw another article that mentioned it may reverse some hearing loss and treat
tinnitus but they didn't have a link to the actual studies. https://www.lifeextension.com/magaz...MIz56I0u_LhgMVyDbUAR2AWANdEAAYASAAEgI2X_D_BwE
