I just won an auction for a pair of FE-166 look-alikes. They have 'RAS16P02' '16omega 10W' 'Japan' on the back. I was only able to find one reference to them on the web at: Vintage Japanese Drivers. They indicate that they are Panasonic drivers but, don't give any stats on them.
The pictures on the auction show speakers identical to the one on the vintage site. They are a lovely cream color, with cream whizzer, and oxblood/brownish inverted roll cloth surrounds.
Anyway, any suggestions for an enclosure that would be forgiving of the drivers? I'm leaning towards Bob Brines FT-1600 MkII mass loaded transmission line, or a straight pipe similar to the one he did for the RS 40-1354s.
Thanks!
Tom.

I'd get a couple of TS parameters. This website is helpful for helping finding some parameters, the basic ones atleast. Using these you can then design an enclosure.
