HI i've recently purchased an ASK WSX lcd panel of ebay. So....... Day 1. great fine picture everything working, my monitor picture has shodows about 2mm long though but lcd picture is fine. Day two and after some moving around the monitor and the lcd I recieve no signal. tested averything and I sure its the cable that has failed. The only problem is that the ASK WSX has a 26pin VGA like port to connect to and thats it. I've never seen a 26pin connector before and can't find one anywhere. The cable that needs replacing went from a VGA and split into a VGA and this 26pin vgalike header. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm thinking that i may need to make a cable out of the parts (but I have no idea on the 26pin wiring) but only as a last resort.

I too am in a little bit of **** 🙂. Im not sure if my cable works and i know my screen won't work, because my ribbon cable inside had broken a connector off. I am going to try to bypass it tomorrow (which is today) and fudge with it for hours and hours. Oh yea, do you know if the wsx has a splash screen?. I have the pinouts for the 26pin connector if you need em. We can work together on this one, the vga cable i mean cause as far as the ribbon cable i need, its all up to me 🙂. I'll post a pic of that too. If you happen to come by an ask panel thats junked, let me know.

I had contacted a company and they said that they would make the cable for 85 bucks USD. I believe thats up to the panels supposed compressed resolution of 1280 by something (1024?).
