ARTA measurement box with builtin amp: LM3886 or TDA7294?

Hi,
I decided to build the ARTA measurement box (see documents here https://artalabs.hr/support.htm).
There are two suggestions for simple amplifiers to be added to the box so one does not need an external HiFi amp.
Can someone help me decide which one to build? I am able to build it from a plan but I dont know which one is better regarding specs....
The two versions are based on either of the two amp components: TDA 7294 or LM 3886. What are the differences, pro/cons?
I want to use it for my first diy speaker project (open baffle, discussed elsewhere here).

I'd say it does not matter. I used a TDA2002 running on +/-7V rectified from the pilot lamp of my HeathKit oscillator. Put a good Watt into any speaker and I never had to run it that hard to get impedance and T/S data. Yes, the '2002 is obsolete but, stunningly, Jameco has a hundred in hand.

I built this one https://sound-au.com/project186.htm specificaly for measuring speakers and I'm very happy. I also have built the probe recomended by ARTA Limp manual for measuring impedance inside the box. But I found that the amp's output is too much anyway. For this job I prefer to use the soundcard's output since it seems to work better. Most soundcards today have desent low impedance output.
