It's the whole recording industry that should feel insulted by the genius of their forefathers. There are so few good sounding modern recordings being released now it's amazing!

I'm a guru because I know a little bit more than those who know nothing at all - about audio.
I have to believe audio knowledge is like the tide - it comes in and goes out. When I read about what some old dead guy knew, I figure the tide was in. Where does it go in the meantime while waiting to be "rediscovered"?
An audio no-no that can only be corrected by use of a vacuum tube. Someone knew this. Someone knows it. Someone will know it again through rediscovery. What is it? I've no idea!

Honestly, I don’t know how he can get throw some of those without breaking character. Love how his wife can effortlessly cut him a new one; it reminds me vaguely of someone for whom passive aggression might have been a spontaneous gift, but was certainly finely honed and managed to pass the placental barrier to the next generation.
