Are there any N.Pass amps that have a front end using parts widely available in 2023, i.e not SK170/SJ74?
Or circuits that can use replacement input devices widely available in 2023?

Thanks for that, but I'm already aware of that option, and I am about to build a F7 for which I have managed to obtain the parts. And of course I'm a big N.Pass fan.
But that isn't the question I asked. The question I asked was if there are any N.Pass amp designs with currently available parts in the input section?

Ask yourself: If you were Nelson Pass, and if you owned a giant storehouse full of Genuine Toshiba parts which you purchased years ago (when prices were very low), and if you as a designer had decades of experience creating great-sounding amplifiers using those parts, would you abandon your vault of Toshibas and vow to never design them into any new amplifiers, ever again?
I have no argument with Nelson Pass and I'm about to build a F7. There's no need to defend him.
I just asked if any of his designs used input devices which are currently available.
It's a simple question. I have a spare enclosure looking for a project.
He has designed with Exicon outputs which are currently available. Maybe this might apply to the input devices?
I can't read his mind, though I know he likes a challenge. How do I know whether he's cooking up a different input stage?
Or indeed whether any of his several past designs use current input devices?

jfet is like dht of solid state ....still not a triode ,he use that ,btw Mark build some alternative input stage for M2x take a look
Thanks nicoch, very useful and all credit to Mark. I will take a look. At first glance the M2 Tucson with op-amp input looks interesting. The IRFP devices are available too.
I'm open minded about what to put in my spare enclosure. At the moment it could be a MoFo.
I have 16x Exicon 8N16 devices looking for a design I could use them in. Can't find a datasheet, but I'll provisionally treat them like 10N20s.

You might be able to build an ACA with smd 2sk209 instead of sk170.
A couple of older design:

Asking such questions might get you excommunicated.
Of course it would be good to use commonly available parts. Many will dispute this because of this and that but one will almost never see this in any other sector. I think it is not really a service to keep designing for DIY with obsolete parts especially the very hard to find ones that are obsolete for decades.
This does not count for non DIY devices meant for commercial interests.

Nelson's Adcom GFA-555 (cool article) used an all-bipolar input stage. They were Toshiba bipolars. Which are now out of production.

I'm walking on eggshells. This is clearly a holy place.....Asking such questions might get you excommunicated.....
Holly Place ....... it is
OmniZM is present

major thing Papa is doing for decades here is teaching us all to use own brains
who doesn't see that, thinking that exact schematics are major thing and top of Iceberg ....... that's their problem
I could say - do better, show any better/good enough/more convenient construction, repeat that for years and decades ..... and even then you'll not be in position to criticize his approach
anyway, in that context - missing the point and bawling ...... is it on verge of being, or it is plain stupid?

Calling names and asking suggestive questions what I have/have not achieved (a below the belt trick) are not a way to answer the OPs quite clear and legitimate question.
Maybe you could start to be less fanatical!?
And yes I make my own constructions with available recent parts when I want but that has little to do with the subject.

Andy, this one is in the store right now and I suggest you grab it. Parts are already supplied with the kit and they are cheap parts you can get at the regular suppliers. Not an amp but the recent FE can be built using j113:

You really aren’t. Everyone is welcome here and all questions are valid. Folks are just giving you the reasons behind why the Toshiba parts are in use in Nelson’s amps, which is related to your question.I'm walking on eggshells. This is clearly a holy place.....
I know you are a DHT fan (I am too). If I were you, I’d get one of the Tokin devices from Watanabe on ebay. They are like a 300B on steroids. Nelson has provided ample designs around them (very simple single-ended stuff) and then you can couple that Tokin output stage to the front end linked by Dennis. Heck, you can even drive just the follower output stage with your favorite preamp. That’s what I do.
Get the F7 done and then plenty of fun to be had.
It was a collaboration with Norm Thagard (astronaut) called the A75 that used IRFD110 + IRFD9110’s.

You're sure that first thrown stone came from me?
Not first time that you're complaining about obsolete parts
Just change a forum, plenty of constructions with present made components
Or, just for fun, try doing the same, again and again - in Tube Forum
Boys there will put you in proper place, not waiting for 10th rude post
